Sunbeams Nursery - 3 - 4 year olds

Our Sunbeams Nursery is located within Roundhill's Foundation Stage Unit, where our 3 and 4 year olds play and learn supported by qualified teachers and highly-experienced early years' practitioners.

We offer early years education based on the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and provide learning and teaching experiences of the highest quality. We deliver a carefully balanced combination of adult-led and child-initiated activities. Sometimes practitioners will stand back and observe a child in play, sometimes we will be a 'guide on the side' and sometimes we will take the lead, but at all times we provide purposeful, playful activities and first-hand learning experiences that will help our children make sense of the world. These experiences give our nursery children a secure foundation on which to build a life-long love of learning. Our wonderfully spacious, well-resourced environment enables us to provide opportunities for playing both indoors and outdoors.

We recognise that parents are children's first and most enduring educators and we value being partners with you in your child's education. We have an 'open door' policy and welcome parents in to discuss their children's learning and any other issues that may arise.
