Our writing lessons follow our whole school 5 step pedagogy of:

Review-Explain-Check-Practise-Feedback

 

We base our sequence on the Oak academy units of work- adapted and rearranged to suit the needs of our children. 

 

The sequence is focused on teaching the skills and grammar needed early in the year, with more time to practise writing towards the end of the year.
