Welcome to our nursery

We are very proud of our long-established nursery provision at Roundhill for 2-4 year olds. We have highly experienced and qualified Nursery staff including teaching staff, Early Years practitioners and Nursery Nurses. Our nursery provision is situated within Roundhill Primary School grounds where we have a stimulating, caring and safe environment in which children are encouraged to be independent, curious and question the world around them.

We work in partnership with our parents and carers, building strong relationships with our families to ensure we meet the individual needs of each child.  We welcome you and your child to our nursery and hope that their time with us is enjoyable and that from learning through play the children receive a foundation for life.

Our nursery provision is inclusive and our children develop as happy, secure, confident explorers ~ who can flourish  and learn at their own pace and in their own way, irrespective of their ethnicity, culture, religion, home language, learning needs, disabilities or gender.

Our role is to stimulate and encourage their development and enjoyment of learning through a variety of different activities in secure indoor and outdoor situations, through play and through structured and creative activities. We encourage the growth of social skills and empathy amongst the children. The relationships which the children develop with each other and with our staff are central to their happiness and lay the best possible foundation for their future.
