QUERIES REGARDING FREE SCHOOL MEALS VOUCHERS - COVID-19 PANDEMIC
During the current period of school closures families of children entitled to Free School Meals will be issued with a voucher to the value of £15 per week per child.
In order to do this, the Department for Education in partnership with Edenred UK have set up an online platform - Compliments Select - from where an 'eCode' will be issued to eligible families. Parents or carers can then go online to redeem the eCode against a choice of eGift cards (a digital gift card delivered by e-mail) from a selection of supermarkets.
Please e-mail the school office at: firstname.lastname@example.org if your e-mail address has recently changed in order that our records are correct.

School Meal Prices
School meals cost £2.80 each for Key Stage 2 children and £2.80 each for Nursery children. Please pay weekly in advance online on www.schoolgateway.com for the meals that your child requires for the week. We have a strict policy that lunch debts must not go over £10. If your balance goes above £10 you will receive a telephone call from the school office, giving you the option to either clear the balance or provide your child with a packed lunch as we are no longer able to carry these debts. If you are not able to clear the balance or provide a packed lunch, your child will be provided with toast, fruit and a drink for lunch.
Universal Infant Free School Meals
From September 2014, all children in reception, Year 1 and Year 2 state-funded schools in England will receive free school meals. The aim is to improve academic attainment and save families money.
All parents are requested to complete a registration form in order for us to identify whether you would have been entitled under the existing free school meals scheme or not. This is because each child registered under the original scheme attracts valuable funding for their school. £1,320 for each eligible primary-aged pupil will be allocated in the next school year in additional funding.
Remember that every child in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 is entitled to receive a free school meal regardless of the outcomes from this registration form, but completion of the form may bring valuable funds into your child’s school.
If you have not already completed a registration form, there is a copy attached to this page.
