Tree Planting 16.3.18

Today every child in the school planted a sapling kindly donated by the Woodland Trust. We now have the beginnings of a hedge all around the perimeter of the school field and have extended the copse area with some Silver Birch and Flowering Cherry trees. We are looking forward to watching them grow and seeing the wildlife they will attract. We would like to say a HUGE thank you to the parents and friends who came to help us. We couldn't have done it without you!

Tree Planting

A huge thanks to those of you that gave up your Saturday morning to help plant trees (kindly donated by the Woodland Trust) on the school field. We were very lucky with the weather and the children were fantastic. We planted hedging around the bottom of the field and extended the copse area. We hope to plant more hedging in 6 months time so look out for further details.
