Home Learning

Home learning is an important way to reinforce and support children's learning in school.

The most important way you can support your child is through regular reading at home, and by promoting the enjoyment of books.

Our children also have access to online learning platforms (logins will be provided by class teachers at the start of each year) - activities on these will regularly be allocated for home use.  Our learning platforms currently include: Bug Club reading and Doode Maths (from Y1)

Other home learning will be provided either by:

  • information sheets in Home Learning books, or
  • being posted on ClassDojo.

All children may complete the learning tasks in the way that best suits them - by recording in their books or posting online.  Please contact your child's class teacher if you are not yet able to access ClassDojo.

Please also inform the class teacher if you would like paper copies of Home Learning to be sent home, rather than accessing it online.

If you would like other ideas to supplement or extend learning at home, there are many ideas below for all ages and interests.
