School Meals

School Meal Prices

School meals cost £2.80 each for Key Stage 2 children and £2.80 each for Nursery children. Please pay for all meals in advance.  We have a strict zero balance approach.  If your balance goes into minus, you will receive a telephone call from the school office, giving you the option to either clear the balance or provide your child with a packed lunch.  If you are not able to clear the balance or provide a packed lunch, your child will be provided with toast, fruit and a drink for lunch.

Universal Infant Free School Meals

From September 2014, all children in reception, Year 1 and Year 2 state-funded schools in England will receive free school meals. The aim is to improve academic attainment and save families money.

All parents are requested to complete a registration form in order for us to identify whether you would have been entitled under the existing free school meals scheme or not. This is because each child registered under the original scheme attracts valuable funding for their school. £1,320 for each eligible primary-aged pupil will be allocated in the next school year in additional funding.

Remember that every child in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 is entitled to receive a free school meal regardless of the outcomes from this registration form, but completion of the form may bring valuable funds into your child’s school.

If you have not already completed a registration form, there is a copy attached to this page.
